CHEAT'S CHILLI JAM SAUSAGE ROLLS

Take out some of those sausages you know you have lurk­ing at the back of your freezer and al­low to de­frost (or buy sausage meat from your lo­cal butcher). Put the sausage meat in a bowl and mix in a cou­ple of large ta­ble­spoons of Scar­lett & Mus­tard Chilli Jam. Un­roll a pack of puff pas­try and cut down the mid­dle. Place the sausage meat all the way along the mid­dle of the pas­try pieces, then tightly roll the pas­try around the sausage, brush­ing the ends with beaten egg to make them stick. Cut to the de­sired lengths, place on a bak­ing tray and brush again with the egg. Bake in the oven (fan 180°C) for about half an hour, or un­til golden and crispy.
