“We’re sold out again! This is our fourth week of doing Saturday meals to takeaway and it’s been fantastic. We’ve had a great response to our Friday Instagram cook-alongs too where we’ve invited people from the community to join me making a nice, not too complex recipe.
“The first two weeks of lockdown we felt lost, though. It wasn’t easy, but there have been positives. I’ve been running, practised my golf, and our dog Pippa has had lots of walks. She’s noisy until we take her, it’s like she’s saying ‘what are you doing in my house, when are you going back to work?’
“It’s been good not to rush, especially in the mornings. I’ve enjoyed shopping locally and I’m growing herbs and salads at home – we picked the first lettuce yesterday. I’ll keep going with this, maybe put a tub at the back of the restaurant.”
