Sentence deferred after theft

Sentence was deferred on a homeless man who stole from an electrical store.

Gordon Brodie, who stays at Lindsay House in the Village, admitted breaching five bail orders by shoplifting a hard drive from Maplin in Princes Square on February 18.

He will return to Hamilton Sheriff Court dock for sentencing on May 16 as he has other matters outstanding.
