Hangout is in the money
EK Hangout had some very special visitors recently.
For East Kilbride Rotary Club and East Kilbride Kittoch Rotary Club dropped in with some fantastic news.
Both rotary clubs hosted a dinner dance – and very generously donated £1000 to the club.
All the members would love to say a big thank you to the rotarians for their very kind donation and continuous support throughout the year.
EK Hangout is a unique club which provides young adults with learning difficulties the opportunity to take part in social activities in a safe and non-threatening environment.
The club is run by four local mums – Elma Ross, Lesley McGinlay, Connie Smillie and Lynn Morrison – who all have sons who attend the Hangout.
They are pictured alongside club members receiving the cheque from representatives of the rotary clubs.
