Uninvited man entered a flat
A man who entered a flat in The Murray uninvited has avoided a jail term.
Robert Souter appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court for sentencing having being found guilty at his trial of entering the Liddell Grove property on April 18 without permission.
While there, the 41-yearold behaved in a threatening manner and made threats to remove property.
A charge that Souter entered the home and tried to steal a TV was dropped.
Sheriff Thomas Millar put Souter, of Sommerville Terrace, on a three-month restriction of liberty order. He must remain in his home for the next three months between 7pm and 7am.
