Ru­ral Mem­bers of the Gil­mour­ton Ru­ral held their most re­cent meet­ing on Wed­nes­day, Novem­ber 1. Af­ter busi­ness, Pres­i­dent Liz McAl­lan wel­comed the speaker for the evening, Kevin Smith. He gave an ex­cel­lent pre­sen­ta­tion on the theme of nos­tal­gia, very much en­joyed by all present. Com­pe­ti­tion win­ners for the evening were: Granny’s Favourite Say­ing – 1st, Janette Smith; 2nd, Sarah Ma­teer; 3rd, San­dra Gib­son. Kerr. The next meet­ing will be on Wed­nes­day, De­cem­ber 6 to cel­e­brate Gil­mour­ton Ru­ral’s 72nd birth­day. Mem­bers and in­vited guests are asked to ar­rive at 7pm for 7.15pm.

Whist There will be a whist drive in Gil­mour­ton Ru­ral Hall tonight (Wed­nes­day, Novem­ber 15) start­ing at 7.30pm with tick­ets cost­ing £5.
