An East Kilbride motorist faced dangerous driving and drug dealing charges when he appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court.
Dean King, 24, of Kirktonholme Gardens, was accused of overtaking when it was unsafe to do so, driving at high speed and failing to stop for police.
It’s also alleged he had no MOT certificate and no insurance when driving on various roads in East Kilbride on September 13.
Further charges state King was in possession of herbal cannabis and had cocaine with intent to supply others at his then home in Globe Court on the same date.
Represented by solicitor Andy Thomson, King entered not guilty pleas and was given bail ahead of trial on March 29. There will be an interim hearing on March 1.
