Kilby boss delighted with new recruit
Billy Stark has secured his third new recruit in as many weeks after East Kilbride signed former Rangers youth midfielder Darren Ramsay.
The 22-year-old signed from Clyde last week and made his debut as a late substitute in Saturday’s 4-1 win over WhitehillWelfare.
And Kilby boss Stark said: “Darren is a player I know from his youth days at Rangers and when he was playing for the Scotland under-16 and under-17 teams.
“He’s had a full season at Arbroath and Annan. Jim Chapman took him to Clyde when he moved there, but it just hasn’t worked out for him.
“I’m delighted to get him because he has great versatility. He can play in a number of positions for us and with the experience he has behind him, he’s not going to be fazed coming here and dealing with the big games we have coming up.
“With Bryan [Prunty] and Craig [Malcolm] coming in over the last few weeks and now Darren, that gives us good cover for the rest of the season.”
