Trial was set for a man accused of breaking into properties in Stewartfield and stealing high-value items including cars and computer equipment.
William Stewart, 43, appeared from custody and denied two charges of theft and housebreaking when he appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court.
He pled not guilty to breaking into a property in Mossdale on June 1 last year and stealing car keys along with a car, a quantity of clothing, a handbag, computer equipment, a mobile phone and cash.
He also denied a break-in at a property in Dunrobin Court where it is alleged he stole items including car keys, a car, bank cards and cash.
Trial was set for May 8.
