Miss Scotland Linzi McLelland hopes to soar to greater heights as she begins her journey to the Miss World title,
The 24-year-old air stewardess, who also holds the Miss Glasgow Galaxy and Miss British Empire Scotland titles, will travel to China for the finals in December.
However, in the meantime, in her day job as cabin crew with Emirates Airline, Linzi has taken centre stage in a promotional video in which she swaps her pageant crown for her Emirates head wear.
The West Mains stunner is seen teaching her colleagues Scottish slang – enlightening them with phrases like“lang may yer lum reek” and“whit’s fur ye’ll no go past ye”.
The video, which was posted on the Emirates Airline Twitter account, came ahead of the launch of their flights to Edinburgh on Monday.
Linzi will become the first East Kilbride beauty to enter Miss World after winning the Miss Scotland 2018 crown in June.
She has lived in Dubai for the last two years but recently returned to her home town as she embarks on her new adventure as Scotland’s poster girl.
