Joy for Kieran

In his opening match Clinton managed to secure a score of 11-3 in the first set and 9-5 in the second set against Internationalist Robert Gordon from Lanarkshire.
He was then up against Gordon Prentice, also from Lanarkshire, and won in style, taking the first set10-3 and the second set 11-6.
The final game of the day to progress to the semi final stages was against John Carswell of Galleon Indoor Bowling Club. Kieran edged a close first set 10-8 before going onto to claim the second set 9-4 and book his semi slot.
He will now battle it out for a place in the final when Glasgow Indoor Bowling Club hosts the later stages of the competition on Sunday, October 28.
