Coffee & chocolate soup!
Peeling bananas is much easier if you start from the bottom – just watch how monkeys do it! Put 150ml double cream in a saucepan over a medium heat and gently bring to the boil. Meanwhile, chop 200g good-quality
dark chocolate into small pieces using a heavy knife and prepare 100ml strong coffee. Once the cream is just boiling, turn off the heat and throw in the chocolate. Stir gently until completely smooth, then add in the coffee and 4 tbsp brandy (if using). To serve, divide the soup between 4 small bowls and add a scoop of vanilla ice cream to each. Who says soup is just a starter?
