New techniques to revitalise your skin
HERE at the clinic we pride ourselves on offering our patients the latest treatments, embracing the most cutting-edge technology to enhance skin quality and promote rejuvenation. However, ensuring the treatments we offer deliver visible results takes time, as we commit to extensive research and then training before launching any new product. Which makes it particularly exciting for us that we have recently launched not one but two of the latest and most sought-after treatments available on the market today.
Dermaplaning has been reported by the media as ‘the new way to exfoliate your face’. In fact, that couldn’t be truer as the procedure uses a sterile, surgical scalpel to gently ‘shave’ the skin’s surface, removing the top layer of dead skin along with fine, vellus hair (or ‘peach fuzz’). After dermaplaning your skincare practitioner applies an enzyme peel, revealing a fresh and rejuvenated skin surface, perfect for make-up application. It is an entirely safe and highly effective physical exfoliation procedure requiring little or no downtime after the treatment. Our second new treatment, the Obagi Blue Radiance Peel, uses a unique blend of acids to provide a gentle but effective salicylic acid-based facial chemical peel, resulting in tighter, smoother, brighter-looking skin immediately after just one treatment. Salicylic acid–based peels are used to improve patient outcomes for a range of skin concerns, including photo damage, acne scarring, and improved texture and tone.
So why have we launched both products together? Well the best news of all is that these two treatments are highly effective when administered independently but they can also be used in combination, with the peel immediately following the dermaplaning, for a really deep treatment guaranteed to leave your skin feeling fresh, renewed, and radiant.
