FOUR-SPOT SPOTTED

I had a walk round Upton Fen after a cool wet night to look for dragonflies; if it is cool and wet they are lethargic and approachable; also they are incredibly photogenic. This four-spot chaser was easy to find and didn’t move in the 15 minutes myself and a friend spent taking pictures. After they dry out and warm up it is business as usual and its almost impossible to get a picture as they hunt.
