Life in the countryside can come at a price - mains gas might not be available and you may have to rely on oil for heating your home. This can be expensive and a large oil tank can take up space and spoil the look of your garden.

Many people will know about liquified petroleum gas (LPG) in bottles for camping and caravanning, but you can also use the gas in your home.

When it comes to storage, one option is an underground tank, which can be buried from view. This means the only thing that is visible in your garden is a green cover in the grass, which provides access for a delivery driver.

You won’t fall victim to fuel theft, which is common in rural areas as oil tanks are relatively easy to identify, pierce, and siphon oil from. LPG is virtually impossible to steal.

Calor are currently offering installation of an underground tank and gas connection for only £1500.* For more information visit www.calor.co.uk or call 0800 181 4523. *See calor.co.uk for full terms and conditions.
