Financing the festivities
JAMES HAWKINS offers a way of easing seasonal cash flow
THE FESTIVE season is but a distant memory and the New Year brings new bills and financial challenges; those invoices will not go away but there may be light at the end of the tunnel.
It might be that it’s a simple cash flow problem that can be easily rectified or you may require a longer period to alleviate your monetary woes. Fear not; at Juels’ Limited we are here to help and assist in your financial woes.
We operate a simple, easy, stress free, buy and sell back agreement. The process cannot be simpler; bring along your jewellery, silver, gold, objects d’art, antiques, militaria, clocks and valuables and we at Juels’ Limited will make an assessment and pledge a loan against the items.
Alex Martin, our shop manager, who has recently successfully passed several courses and attended various attachments, will be controlling this side of the business. He is looking forward to the new challenges that unique items brought through the door may bring.
Following an agreed loan amount, the transaction is simple; fill out our one-page form and then a cash loan will be provided against your items (the ‘cash’ can be in form of money, a cheque or a bank transfer, whichever you require). The terms are usually for a 28-day period, however longer loan periods can be arranged that are tailored to your specific requirements and circumstances.
Then once your financial situation has been resolved come back into the Norwich shop and redeem your pledged goods or items. Our interest rates are £10 or 20%, whichever is greater, on any loan. We operate a family friendly service and therefore if the term of the loan needs to be extended, we ask you to update and renew the paperwork for another time period and so legally re-secure your items.
If you have any specific or unique items it may be necessary to get a professional assessment from our trade connections, such as the time a loan made against a herd of pigs! I know little to nothing about the industry however I do know a man who does and with his expert advice managed to lend a considerable amount of money to the farmer.
So from the weird to the wonderful, the glamorous to the macabre, most items can be used to secure a loan from Juels’ Limited. For more information about our buy and sell back agreement call into our shop, see the webpage or call James on 01603 666373. Also don’t forget we are still doing valuations for the East Anglia Air Ambulance; all donations for the charity are gratefully received.
