Adam Morter from Norwich has won the Central Region Mappin and Webb Young Ambassador category at The Prince’s Trust Awards. The Prince’s Trust and TK Maxx & Homesense Awards recognise the achievements of young people who have succeeded against the odds, improved their chances in life, and had a positive impact on their local community.

Adam had a difficult childhood and he ended up homeless and feeling isolated. “Life at home was difficult growing up. School was also a challenge. In addition, limited work experience meant I found it really hard to get a job.”

Taking part in The Prince’s Trust Make Your Mark, Get into Retail programme, run with Marks and Spencer, was a positive experience for Adam. “This has been the best day of my life! I’ve had an amazing experience with The Princes Trust and today just topped it off,” he says.
