We want to hear your funny stories, poems and jokes
THE last edition of the Herald & News will be on Thursday December 18.
From Boxing Day, a new edition of the Surrey Advertiser will be launched in its place, covering the boroughs of Runnymede and Spelthorne.
Press Club members will be automatically transferred to the Surrey Advertiser Academy, with just as many chances to get involved and win some great prizes.
As usual, you can submit jokes and photos or contribute stories, poems, letters and/or artwork and we will publish some of the most interesting each week.
If you have a passion for poetry or a tall tale to tell, get cracking and email your submissions to ros.collins@ trinitymirror.com or post them to Surrey Advertiser Academy, Stoke Mill, Woking Road, Guildford, Surrey, GU1 1QA.
You could also star in one of our member profiles by joining the Academy – simply fill in and send the application form that will be published on the page for the Christmas week.
Those celebrating their first birthday will receive a birthday card. Members aged between two and five inclusive receive a ticket to the children’s play area at Archie’s Launchpad, Farnham at Egham
or Leisure Centre, while those aged from six to 13 years inclusive get a ticket to see a movie at the Ambassadors Cinemas, Woking.
We will also announce your birthday on the Academy page and you will be given a membership card with your own unique number.
Check out the page every Friday for the chance to enter competitions and win exciting prizes.
Membership is free, so get writing.
