Brewer off in a stuff­ing

TOMMY BREWER was sent off in the 48th minute as Staines Town took a 5-1 ham­mer­ing at Hemel Hemp­stead Town on Tues­day in Va­narama South (see re­ac­tion on www. get­sur­rey.com).

It was Swans’ heav­i­est de­feat of the cam­paign and they were sent to the bot­tom of the ta­ble as We­ston-su­per-Mare beat Farn­bor­ough 4-3. Mar­cus Gayle’s side re­main six points from safety – with a trip to league lead­ers Bore­ham Wood loom­ing.

Else­where, Mole­sey won 4-1 at Spelthorne Sports in the CCL Premier with goals from Pi­etro Pal­ladino, an own goal, Staforde Palmer and Dre Grob­ler. Jesse Ati­ase had made it 1-1 be­fore half time.

Walton Ca­su­als lost 2-0 at home to Kingsto­nian and Ash­ford Town were beaten 3-0 at Cam­ber­ley in the Robert Dyas and Cherry Red Records league cups re­spec­tively.
