POOLEY Green’s ‘mascot’ cat, left traumatised after being kicked in the head in October, has gone missing.

Rudi, a 16-month-old black oriental cat, is well known in the area.

He was last seen outside his house in Harcourt Close at 1pm on Monday last week.

Owner Elaine Crewe has been out looking for him, with help from friends and neighbours. He is microchipped and was wearing a Halloween collar with pumpkins and ghosts on.

“We all miss him terribly. He’s part of our family,” she said. “He sleeps with my son, who is just lost without him. Any information on Rudi would be fantastic.

“Maybe he’s trapped in someone’s shed. He has never stayed out before.”

The RSPCA appealed for information after a boy was seen kicking Rudi in the head earlier this year.

Anyone with information is asked to call 07732419796.

Part of the family: Rudi the cat.
