GLASS WARDROBES

ELLE Decoration (UK) - - Content -

The wardrobe is a functional piece of furniture, but rarely a thing of beauty – and possibly the last element of the home that’s almost universally clunky and awkward. Well, now that’s all changing: Belgian designer Vincent Van Duysen has created ‘Master Dressing’, his game-changingly sleek, glass wardrobe for Molteni & C.

You’ll no longer have to hide away your most prized fashion purchases: this piece of furniture that turns your clothes into showpieces ( granted, you may have to be bit more tidy and organised). The vitrine design of ‘Master Dressing’ perfectly coordinates with Van Duysen’s existing ‘Gliss Master’ wardrobes, and incorporates a purposebuilt shelving system, drawers, and tie and scarf racks, all intended to help you keep everything in order. Also, for the first time, a dressing table area, including a large mirror, can be built into the middle of the wardrobe, allowing accessories and cosmetics to sit side-by-side with clothes. It’s officially time to get rid of that mahogany beast in the corner of the bedroom; a new, more elegant alternative has stolen our hearts (molteni.it).
