Designer’s debut smart watch proves ultra-capable

— Emporio Armani has jumped into the smart watch fray, unveiling the Connected, its first touchscreen timepiece. Powered by Android Wear, it syncs with phones to offer activity tracking, smartphone notifications, scheduling, messaging and music control among its menu of functions. Perhaps best of all, wearers can flip between eight faces and a series of interchangeable straps.
