Aviator sunglasses have been with us since 1936 (courtesy of US brand Bausch & Lomb), and are back in the spotlight as the shape to be wearing this summer. They’re now available in variations that go beyond the original US Army Air Corps issue Ray-Bans that popularised the movement — although those are still a classic. Just don’t wear them with a bomber jacket.
