Faithful rendition

A modern edition of Certina’s iconic diver

Esquire (UK) - - Watch News -

Known for its tough sport models, Certina released its first batch of DS PH200M watches in the Sixties. Now, in line with a broader watch trend for reviving archive classics, it has brought it back. In terms of construction, it’s faithful to the original, featuring a rounded hesalite box glass and a separate mounting ring that work to offer exceptional water resistance, as deep as 200m. Inside, meanwhile, the engine has been updated to a slick Powermatic 80 automatic movement. At under £600, you get a lot of watch for your money.
