Essex Life - - Food & Drink -

Judge: Pat Pratley Sponsor: Mack Highly Commended: Tea On The Green, Danbury Highly Commended: Snug Café, High Easter Winner: Zoe’s Coffee Shop, Dunmow

WHAT THE WINNER SAID:

This is the second consecutive year that Zoe’s Coffee Shop has been nominated, which is amazing, and this year we have won! I feel we have come on so far since last year and to win it is amazing. It is so good for the customers and my team. We are a team and I couldn’t do it without them. This is what I have instilled in every single person who works there, I can’t do without them. When I am not there the service is still exactly the same, which is really important. It is seamless without me and I think this is why we have won. I am not Zoe’s Coffee Shop, I own it and run it, but whatever day or time you get the same service and quality. I am so chuffed to win it and it is a big achievement to win such a prestigious award.

WHAT THE JUDGE SAID:

Zoe’s Coffee Shop is very welcoming, with coffee, tea and a good selection of homemade food, including Zoe’s award winning scotch eggs! There is something to suit all palettes and it’s attractively served. The locally-sourced food is cooked on the premises as are the scones and cakes which are made daily.
