We have been nominated three or four times and it feels absolutely amazing to have won this year. This is such a prestigious award to win and we are really proud it is coming back with us. I think we won this award because have a lot of loyal customers, who we know by name and they come back time and time again, which is always lovely. We want to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts, it is truly a great honour to have won. Thank you!

The staff are really friendly, even under pressure, and they never lose their patience. When I went, there was a mum in front of me with three children all trying to decide what to eat. The staff were so helpful and accommodating even though a queue started to form. The food was excellent value for money and the portions are very generous. The restaurant itself was very clean and tables were cleared immediately. All customers looked very happy and a couple of people I asked had only nice things to say. It’s a great place for older people to not only eat but also to meet without the pressure of having to spend a lot of money. The community spirit is very evident making people feel very welcome indeed.
