‘Everybody needs good ’
Spacious property in quiet cul-de-sac
AHIGH degree of privacy is what’s on offer in the rear garden of the Duncan family’s home in Cove Bay. But there were many more reasons why they fell in love with their three-bedroom home. Donna, 37, a part-time medical secretary, said: “My husband John initially viewed this house while I was in Portlethen viewing another one. “He can be quite fickle, so when he phoned while I was viewing the other property, I knew this one had to be quite special.” Donna, who’s mum to James, 16, Rebecca, 8, and Jessica, 6, wasted no time contacting her agent, and secured a viewing for later that day. “The minute I walked in to the house, I could easily see its potential. “The open-plan living room is my favourite room as it is so spacious, and even when we are all in the room there still seems to be loads of room.” The accommodation includes a lounge, dining room, breakfasting kitchen, utility room, master bedroom and en-suite, two further bedrooms, and family bathroom. Donna and John, 43, an offshore service specialist with Haliburton, were also delighted that the house was located in a quiet cul-de-sac. Now the girls are getting older, Donna and John are looking to upgrade to a four-bedroom home in the area. “We’d like each of our girls to have their own room, so they can put their own personal stamp on it,” Donna said. “But we will miss this house, as it has not only been a very happy family home, but we have brilliant neighbours too.”
