Wonderful wildlife at Woodcroft
Mum and son enjoy woodland walks
THE best thing about living at Woodcroft Avenue is the wildlife in the woods behind the garden. So said Angela Park, 27, a part-time worker at Pentagon Freight who lives with her son Dylan Strachan. Like her, Dylan also enjoys the wooded area adjoining their back garden. “Dylan loves to go on little walks there and there’s always something for him to see, whether it’s horses or sheep who are

grazing,” said Angela, who hails from Ellon. She moved into the property when two-year-old Dylan was a baby, and had been living in Aberdeen for a decade before flitting to Bridge of Don. Angela said: “I wanted to be close to my parents who still live in Ellon, so it has been the ideal location for me. “Another reason I liked this area is because it is really child-friendly.” Angela has kept the decor fairly neutral, and laid laminate flooring throughout the ground floor. Upstairs, she opted for neutral carpeting. “The lounge and dining area is my favourite room,” said Angela. “I like to open up the patio doors in the dining room and let Dylan play outdoors. “What I especially like about the rear garden is that there are no properties overlooking us.” Angela is still searching for her next home, but is having fun shopping around. “I’ve loved my time here, and we’re really excited about finding our next home,” she added.
