House was our PER PROJECT
Couple's home perfect for four legged friend
STEVE Thoms and partner Laura Reid have had some very happy times living in their lovely home. But they are in no doubt their happiness was cemented in their new-build with the arrival of Alfie, their three-yearold springer collie cross. Steve, 36, a key tank manager with Falck Nutec, said: “Laura and I spent six months searching for this house. We were both really impressed with the spaciousness on offer. “Another plus for us was it being located in a cul-desac, and the south-facing garden at the rear.” Within three months of moving into their fourbedroom detached home, Steve and field service co-ordinator Laura, 26, wasted no time in getting Alfie. “We’d always wanted to get a dog, and have had Alfie since he was a puppy,” Steve said. “The rear garden is definitely Alfie’s patch, and is a brilliant size for him to run around in. “We’ve no doubt he will really miss the back garden when we move.” The accommodation includes a lounge, dining room, kitchen, utility room, cloakroom, master bedroom with en-suite shower room, three further bedrooms and a family bathroom. The property, which is mainly decorated in neutral tones, is in Barratt Homes’ Osprey Village Development. Inverurie is conveniently located for the airport, and has both primary and secondary schools. It also has good shopping facilities and a wide range of sporting and recreational attractions including an 18-hole golf course. Steve, Laura and Alfie are searching for their next home. “This has been a great family home for us, and we’ve loved living in Inverurie,” Steve said.
