‘I can vouch for the great neighbours’
Owner lived on street for 22 years
SHELLY Aros has loved living at Annat Bank in Altens – and she was certainly good pals with the neighbours. Shelly, 29, grew up on the street and when a property came up next door to her childhood home it was too good an opportunity to miss. Shelly, who has lived on the street for 22 years, said: “My family lived next door at number five for many years. “When my husband Andrew and I were looking for our first family home, and we saw this property for sale, we knew our search was over.” Located in a quiet cul-desac, Shelly and sub-sea engineer Andrew, also 29, moved in with their son Cole who was only eight months old at the time. Fast forward eight years, and the pair have also welcomed daughter, Kiki, 2, to the fold. The couple have replaced all the windows, exterior and interior doors, and plastered the walls in the home. A new kitchen, bathroom and cloakroom have also been installed. The immaculate, spacious property is simply ready to move into with the minimum of fuss. Shelley, a tax supervisor with Acumen, has mixed feelings about leaving behind the house she has such fond memories of, but she’s looking forward to upgrading to a detached property. The accommodation at the home includes a cloakroom, lounge, dining kitchen, three double bedrooms and family bathroom. And the landscaped gardens are low maintenance. “We intend on staying in the area,” said Shelly. “I just hope whoever moves in enjoys living here as much as we have. I can certainly vouch for having great neighbours!”
