Joe won’t slow down

ROCK n’ roll le­gend Joe Brown is still go­ing strong af­ter more than 50 years at the top. Now 69, the singer head­lines the Mu­sic Hall on Tues­day to roll back the years. Joe’s first hit was in 1959 with Peo­ple Gotta Talk and he is show­ing no signs of slow­ing down. He said: “I don’t know how to stop as play­ing mu­sic is all I’ve done. “It is also a real pas­sion and I still love per­form­ing live and record­ing. “It may be more than 50 years since I started play­ing but I can guar­an­tee any­one com­ing along to see me that I al­ways put on a great show.” Joe has per­formed with le­gends such as Gene Vin­cent, Billy Fury, Johnny Cash and Ed­die Cochran, when they were at the peak of their suc­cess.
