St for speedy meal

I en­joyed mouth­fuls of tiger prawns, salmon and more of my favourite cala­mari in ev­ery bite. My friend’s penne della casa was a meaty feast with chicken and ba­con in a creamy sauce. She said it was quite rich but ul­ti­mately very tasty, with lots of Parme­san sprin­kled on top. The food at Zizzi’s is pretty stan­dard fare and much of it you might be able to recre­ate at home. But it all tasted great, was served to us in record time and all by staff who were su­perbly at­ten­tive through­out. The dishes were so hot the plumes of steam were still ris­ing from them as we fin­ished them off. Yet again the plates were cleared in­stantly and we even had time for a cof­fee be­fore mak­ing a last mad dash to the shops.
