direc­tion very well,” she said. “Once you get the kids on stage, they re­ally open up and you see a real dif­fer­ence in them.” With the fi­nal week of re­hearsals com­ing up, the kids were due to see the set for the first time, as well as hav­ing a full mu­si­cal run­through – and Rachael is happy with their hard work. “I’m feel­ing quite con­fi­dent. “We are or­gan­ised, ready, and the kids need an au­di­ence now. They’re wait­ing for a re­sponse,” she said. Even though this show doesn’t hit the Aberdeen Arts Cen­tre stage un­til 7pm next Wed­nes­day to Satur­day, the group is al­ready look­ing for a new chal­lenge. Rachael said: “Next year is GizGiz’s 30th an­niver­sary, so we’ve al­ready started to look at the kind of show we want to do.”
