GLASGOW’S GoGoBot headline Snafu tonight fresh from some high profile support slots. The trio recently supported chart toppers JLS, Simple Minds and Olly Murs. GoGoBot bass player Rosie McClure said: “Supporting those acts was a fantastic experience. “We played in front of 15,000 people with JLS and it is great to get our music across to so many people. “JLS and Olly Murs were both on X Factor and we are quite different to them musically. “However we like pop music and it was really good to hang out with them.” GoGoBot are planning to release six singles this year as a download. The latest release is infectious pop song Turn The World Around. “It was a way to get our music out,” said Rosie. “The plan is to collect the singles together and possibly release them as a box set at the end of the year. “Some people have told us they would like to physically own them rather than just rely on downloads.” The singles have been mixed by LA music producer Paul Lani who has worked with David Bowie, Prince, Robbie Williams and U2. He worked on new single Turn The World Around. “This song focuses on the strength of relationships,” said Rosie. “There can be tough times but you can always find a resolution if you try to stay positive. “This song focuses on that.”

FANTASTIC: GoGoBot played to 15,000 supporting JLS.
