well we do all work to­gether. We all come from sim­i­lar back­grounds and we’ve all got our own ideas but there’s never any fight­ing in­volved. “It’s re­ally nice be­ing part of some­thing in which you feel as if you can trust ev­ery­body around you. “It’s an easy job, there’s no stress, no pol­i­tics, you’re just around peo­ple who love and re­spect the tal­ents you have.” And Laura – who will be joined by, among oth­ers, her Fly­ing Pigs brother Craig and daugh­ter Han­nah – hopes the au­di­ence will en­joy it as much as they love putting it to­gether. And there’s some­thing for ev­ery­one, thanks to the age ranges and pas­sions of the Pike and Mair fam­i­lies. Laura said: ”The show is a con­glom­er­a­tion of lots of things. “We’re do­ing a big Scot­tish sec­tion – a mix­ture of con­tem­po­rary stuff and the things the older gen­er­a­tion will en­joy. “It’s just a mix­ture of ev­ery­thing – there are so many dif­fer­ent styles within our fam­ily. “It’s a pot­pourri.”
