Cops probing mid-afternoon assault which left 35-year-old man injured
POLICE are investigating after a man was assaulted and sustained facial injuries. The incident happened on Tedder Road, in the Tillydrone area, at about 2pm on September 6.
A 35-year-old male victim sustained facial injuries but did not require medical treatment.
Sergeant John Mcouat of the Tillydrone Community Police Team said: “This incident was distressing to the victim and would have occurred in the early afternoon so there is the potential that someone in the area may have seen or heard something.
“We are especially keen to speak with a male and female who were walking a dog at the time and who may have valuable information which could assist officers with their inquiries.” Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has relevant information, is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 1688 of September 6 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous.
