Sufferer seeks better Lyme disease care
A LYME disease sufferer has taken her fight for better treatment to the Scottish Parliament.
Lorraine Murray spoke at the public petitions committee in Holyrood on behalf of Tick-borne Illness Campaign Scotland.
A new petition urges MSPS to improve testing and treatment.
Mrs Murray, 45, of Montrose, has been almost housebound since being bitten by a tick in 2014. The former fitness instructor said being heard at Holyrood was a “huge step forward”.
