Isn’t skirting stereotyping
transformative or informative but when you take them down to their under-crackers, at their base they are designed to keep us warm and our skin protected. It’s simply fashion, dictated by society, that claims what those items should be for each gender.
So, times change and I applaud John Lewis (and the progressive primary school) for passing on the message that kids should be kids, and clothes should just be clothes, outwith the confines of gender stereotyping… or tight trousers!
