Plea for in­for­ma­tion over un­pro­voked at­tack on two men by teen gang

TWO men have been at­tacked by a gang of six teenagers in an Aberdeen street. Po­lice were to­day ap­peal­ing for in­for­ma­tion af­ter the as­sault near Ha­zle­head round­about at around 2am on Satur­day. The men, a 38-yearold and a 29-year-old, suf­fered mi­nor in­juries in the at­tack.

A woman in her 20s who was with them was un­in­jured. Po­lice were ap­peal­ing for any in­for­ma­tion on a gang of six males, aged be­tween 15 and 18. They were seen head­ing in the di­rec­tion of Stron­say Drive af­ter the in­ci­dent.

Pc Lau­ren Mor­gan said: “This was an un­pro­voked as­sault and I would urge any­one who has in­for­ma­tion or was in the King’s Gate area around 2am on Satur­day to come for­ward.” Any­one with in­for­ma­tion is asked to con­tact Po­lice Scot­land on 101 quot­ing ref­er­ence 456 of 7 Oc­to­ber or Crimes­top­pers on 0800 555 111 if they wish to re­main anony­mous.
