Talk at uni to look at fishing in North Sea
A TALK is set to take place examining the North Sea’s fishing industry.
The first Stuff Worth Knowing talk will take place at the University of Aberdeen.
Dr Tara Marshall, a senior lecturer at the university, will explore how information and communication technology can be used to improve tactical decisionmaking at sea at the evening event on Thursday.
Dr Marshall will also speak about how the North Sea is more difficult to study due to the mixed composition of the fish community. For more information on the event, contact sonia.watson@ASC. scot
