KAYLEIGH’S Wee Stars is a shining example of caring and compassion at its best. It is a great achievement for this charity – set up in memory of Oldmeldrum toddler Kayleigh Cordiner – to pass the milestone of raising £500,000. Behind every pound raised is an army of people who have pulled out all the stops to help the charity in countless ways. Their efforts mean families with a child facing a terminal illness will be given the help they need to spend precious time together. All of this is thanks to Jonathan and Anna Cordiner who set up Wee Stars after losing daughter Kayleigh to a brain tumour. They, and all the friends and family who help them, have shown courage in using their heartache as a springboard to help others. They are all stars.
