Pipeline company celebrating 40 years of success
A NORTH-EAST pipeline company is celebrating 40 years of success.
And John Bell Pipeline (JBP) is now looking to the future with ambitious plans for growth.
The oil and gas industry supplier wants to expand work sites and is planning to increase its workforce in the new year.
Part of the international Bianco Group, John Bell Pipeline operates from sites in Inverurie and Grangemouth. It operates in the North Sea as well as Algeria, Azerbaijan and the Middle East.
The firm said that in the midst of “the hardest industry recession ever” due to a prolonged low oil price, the company managed to win more than £6 million of work since the start of the year. These contracts cover John Bell Pipeline’s full range of core products including valves, pipe and associated products, bringing in a turnover of more than £12m.
To mark the anniversary, JBP hosted a party at its site in Inverurie for employees, families, customers and the local suppliers with whom they have worked during the last 40 years.
