Char­ity of­fer­ing op­por­tu­nity to adopt beau­ti­ful horse

AN AN­I­MAL wel­fare char­ity is ap­peal­ing for peo­ple to adopt a horse.

The Scot­tish SPCA has launched a bid to find a new home for 14-year-old Cob cross Beauty, who is cur­rently liv­ing in Aberdeen­shire. Stand­ing at 14.1 hands high she han­dles well and leads with­out any is­sues, ac­cord­ing to the char­ity.

Used to mix­ing with both mares and geld­ings, the cen­tre hopes the lat­est equine to be up for adop­tion will be able to find a new home. Cen­tre man­ager Graeme Innes said: “Beauty is a lit­tle shy and can be ner­vous with new ex­pe­ri­ences and sud­den move­ments.

“She is look­ing for an ex­pe­ri­enced and knowl­edge­able owner who can bring out the best in her.

“She is a bril­liant horse who han­dles well and leads with­out any is­sues and she’s happy to live out pro­vid­ing she is rugged and has plenty of hay.

“If any­one would like to meet Beauty they should pop along to the cen­tre any day – ex­cept Tues­day – be­tween 10am and 4pm.”
