Evening Express (City Final) - - News -

A BLAZE has ripped through a bedroom at a north-east home. No one was injured in the fire on Addison Street in Banff, but 24 firefighters were required to put it out. Six breathing apparatus and a single hose reel jet were in use at the home. So far, there are no suspicious circumstances, however, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service are still looking into the cause of the incident. A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We had 24 firefighters in attendance at an incident in Addison Crescent Banff. “We received a call at 5.05pm, and the fire was extinguished by 5.45pm. “No one was hurt or needed to be rescued.”
