Dog hurt by hit and run driver
OFFICERS were today investigating a hit and run accident involving a dog.
Grampian Police are trying to trace a silver car that failed to stop after a tan Boxer dog was run down.
The car that hit the pet is believed to be a silver estate and was last seen driving onto Marchburn Drive, Aberdeen.
The incident happened on Saturday on Manor Avenue, near to its junction with Provost Rust Drive.
The dog had injuries to its paws.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police.
