Tragic mum ‘doted on daughter’
MORE tributes were paid today to a “doting mother” found dead in her Aberdeen home.
Lynda Bremner, 39, is understood to have been discovered by her former partner and 11-year-old daughter when they returned home from school on Tuesday.
Police were today continuing to investigate the death, which was being treated as unexplained.
Neighbour and close friend Pauline Geraghty said the death of the “happy-go-lucky” mother had left the close-knit community devastated.
“They were trying to get in the house for two hours before they found her,” she said.
“She doted on her daughter Charlotte. Lynda was all about the kids.
“I took her away on holiday with me. She said she always wanted a son so my boy was like a son to her. He can't believe he is not going to see her again. This has really affected him. We are all gutted.”
Scott Harvey, Lynda's ex-boyfriend and father of her child was too upset to speak about the tragedy.
Paramedics were called to the flat at about 4.50pm on Tuesday.
A Grampian Police spokesman said: “Shortly before 5pm police and ambulance crews were called to an address in Links View in Aberdeen.
“It was reported that a 39-year-old female had been found deceased within the address.
“The death is currently unexplained, but there are no suspicious c i r c u mstances.”
