Mys­tery of par­tially-clothed teenager

DE­TEC­TIVES were in­ves­ti­gat­ing to­day af­ter a par­tially-clothed woman was found in an Aberdeen street.

The 19-year-old, found in a “con­fused state” on King Street, was miss­ing some of her clothes.

To­day po­lice stressed the cir­cum­stances of t he i nci­dent were not clear, in­ves­ti­ga­tions were at fam­ily and friends and from Richard’s fam­ily who have re­ally been won­der­ful.”

The pi­lots were among 16 men killed when the Bond-op­er­ated Su­per Puma he­li­copter – Flight 85N – suf­fered cat­a­strophic gear­box fail­ure in April 2009.

They had been re­turn­ing from BP’s Miller plat­form when the air­craft crashed into the North Sea, off Peter­head. an early stage and there was no in­di­ca­tion any crime had been com­mit­ted.

A Grampian Po­lice spokesman said: “Of­fi­cers are mak­ing in­quiries into an in­ci­dent in the Links­field area of Aberdeen, af­ter a 19-year-old woman was found in a con­fused state by a mem­ber of the pub­lic.

“Of­fi­cers were called around 2.10am yes­ter­day to as­sist the woman, who was seen walk­ing par­tially-clothed along King Street.”

Det Insp Richie Guild said: “Early in­di­ca­tions are that she had also been on Links­field Place and Links­field Gar­dens and we would ap­peal for any­one who may have seen her in the area to come for­ward.”
