EMMA Watson, who plays Hermione i n the Harry Potter films, has denied reports that she was bullied out of a US university.

Brown University in the state of Rhode Island has not commented on media reports citing an anonymous “insider” who claimed Emma was bullied out of the institution.

Emma, pictured, wrote on her website: “I have never been bullied in my life and certainly never at Brown.”

The actress recently announced she was taking time out from her liberal arts studies to focus on her movie career. BARACK Obama expressed his shock as he saw the devastating results of America’s deadliest tornado disaster in almost 80 years.

The death toll from the storms has reached 337 across seven states, including 238 in Alabama, making it the deadliest US tornado outbreak since March 1932.

It was thought that thousands more people were injured in the disaster and as many as a million homes and businesses in Alabama remained without power.

The scale of the disaster shocked President Obama when he arrived in the state.

“I’ve never seen devastation like this,” he said.
