Bogus callers are lowest of the low

Evening Express (Extra Edition) - - READERS' -

IT REALLY is shocking that a bogus caller could target a frail 81-year-old man.

But then, that’s what these cowards and criminals are all about, isn’t it? Picking the easy targets?

It doesn’t matter to them if their victim needs every penny they have after a life- time of working hard to pay their way in society. It doesn’t matter if they leave vulnerable people traumatised or afraid to answer their door.

Do they ever think that this is someone’s grandmother or grandad they are preying on? How would they feel if that was their loved ones?

Bogus callers who fleece people in this callous way are among the lowest of the low.

We can only hope that those who are caught don’t get a slap on the wrist but a long time in a jail cell to protect innocent folk.
