Brexit will be a muddle just like virus response

BREXIT is coming closer — and I am finding it hard not to say: “I told you so.”

Checks on borders, inflated costs, decreased trade, a potential upsurge in immigration from other countries, increased travel insurance — I can’t help but think that it’s going to be an absolute muddle just like our handling of coronavirus.

Most people who voted for Remain are probably prepared for this as they saw it coming. However, I hope those who voted for Brexit don’t get too anxious. Tony Haworth
